Employment

The employment process in the District is intended to attract educators of the highest quality
We are a dynamic community of learners committed to respecting childhood, challenging the intellect, nurturing creativity, fostering reflection, encouraging action, and exploring possibilities for the future. We believe that a developmental, child-centered approach to education is the most effective way to meet the needs of our students and the high level of expectations we set for them. We are guided by a set of beliefs embedded in a culture that honors tradition, reflects on transitions, and makes choices about transformations. It is our goal to recruit and select the best-qualified candidates. All vacancies are posted on our website and can be accessed from the Employment link.

We appreciate your interest in the Winnetka Public Schools. If you have questions about a position or the application process, please contact Karen Foley or call 847-446-9400.

Those interested in employment in the Winnetka Public Schools are encouraged to complete an online application. Application information will become available to all District administrators who share the responsibility for hiring. It is not necessary or helpful to send information directly to a school building with a posted vacancy.
