After several years of planning and community engagement, the 2022 Referendum Downsized Capital Improvement Plan passed in November 2022. Construction commenced at Hubbard Woods and Greeley Schools in summer 2023. All five campuses were under construction as of summer 2024 and students are already benefiting from improvements. Architectural firm Perkins & Will and construction firm Bulley & Andrews are working with The Winnetka Public Schools in order to complete the projects with adherence to the District's timeline and budget.The District is grateful to the Winnetka community for continuing the incredible legacy of supporting Progressive Education, investing in our current and future students, ensuring we are poised to continue to recruit excellent educators, and protecting our beloved historic schools.
